However, negotiations with Manchester United remain at a standstill due to differing views on the transfer structure.

The Italian giants are exploring alternatives after their pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani slowed, with Zirkzee emerging as one of their top targets.

United Want Permanent Exit

Manchester United value the Dutch forward at around €35–40 million and are only willing to approve a deal that guarantees a permanent transfer. The Premier League club has no interest in a simple loan move, preferring either an outright sale or a loan that includes a mandatory purchase clause.

Juventus, meanwhile, are hoping for a more flexible agreement as they continue to manage a limited transfer budget following significant spending in other areas of the squad.

Massara Driving Juventus Interest

New Juventus sporting director Ricky Massara is believed to be a long-time admirer of Zirkzee, having previously attempted to sign him during his time at Roma. His arrival has revived the club’s pursuit of the 25-year-old.

Zirkzee is also keen for more regular playing time after a difficult 2025/26 season at Old Trafford, where he struggled for minutes following increased competition in United’s attack.

Move Still on Hold

Despite mutual interest, the transfer remains on hold unless Juventus can meet Manchester United’s demands for a guaranteed permanent deal. Until both clubs find common ground, Zirkzee’s future is expected to remain unresolved.
