Inter Milan Submit New Offer for Moussa Diaby After Permanent Bid Stalls

Inter Milan have changed their approach in the race to sign Moussa Diaby, submitting a new proposal after their initial bid for the French winger failed to secure approval from Al-Ittihad.

The Serie A giants had previously offered €40 million to sign Diaby on a permanent transfer. However, with Al-Ittihad yet to make a final decision, Inter have now switched strategy.

Inter Turn to Loan Formula as Talks Continue

According to Saudi journalist Mohammed Al-Bukairy, Inter’s latest proposal is a season-long loan worth €28 million. The Italian club believe the revised offer could appeal more to Al-Ittihad by providing a significant financial return while allowing the Saudi side to reassess Diaby’s future next summer.

Diaby, though, is understood to prefer a permanent transfer if he leaves Al-Ittihad, believing a long-term move would offer greater stability than a one-season loan.

Al-Ittihad are still evaluating their options, with the final decision resting in their hands as Inter continue to push for an agreement before the summer transfer window closes.
